From Fruit Gushers to Fun Dip, the 90’s came up with some pretty crazy snacks for us to munch on at school. I remember that the kids with the best lunches obviously had Dunkaroos and Gushers and wouldn’t trade them with anyone in the classroom for anything! These snacks were like gold to kids in the 90’s and we want to take you down memory lane to remember these amazing, yet not so healthy snacks that shaped Lunchtime at school.

1. Fruit Gushers

These cells of sugar and more sugar end with a splash when you bite into them. The center is filled with a gel-like substance that we’d rather not try to understand. Photos By: Sams Club

2. Dunkaroos

My all time favorite snack that my mom would not buy for me. And now, I thank her. But at the same time, I’d still eat one if it presented itself! With a variety of flavors, the clear winner was the cinnamon cookies with sprinkle filled vanilla icing. Photos By: Pop Sugar

3. Fruit Roll Ups

The kids who got these roll ups in class would have a variety of ways of eating this. Some would roll it all up into one long strip of sugar, while others would roll it into a ball and eat it. Then you have people like me who never got them, but when I managed to snag one from a friend, I would take small rips of it to munch on to make it last as long as humanly possible. 4. Lunchables

Ahh, the processed lunch wonder of the 90’s. Why make a fresh lunch when you have one of these? Remember the pizza Lunchables? So delicious to children. And that’s about it. Photos By: Lunchables Parents

5. Minute Maid Juice Bars

These juice bars are actually so delicious and have no added sugar. They were super easy to eat if you were thirsty after being outside in the sunshine all day and were just SO good. Photos By: JJ Snack

6. Instant Oatmeal Dinosaur Eggs

I remember eating these at sleepovers at other friends houses and being so excited for the eggs to hatch! At least this is one way to get your kids to eat oatmeal! Photos By: Target and Walmart

7. Fruit Barrel Drinks

Two words: Soccer. Practice. Parents would always bring these to sports games when it was their turn to bring the drinks for the team and us kids were never disappointed! We probably should’ve been drinking water… Photos By: PR News Wire

8. Yoplait Go-Gurt

A quick snack on the go that we weren’t allowed to eat in the car. They are filled with lots of protein and fun flavours, and maybe just a little bit of sugar. Photos By: Good Foods

9. Fun Dip

And, on the opposite end of the spectrum we have…well…a stick of sugar dipped in powdered flavored sugar. It’s really a work of art to make parents crazy and kids very hyper, I mean, happy. Right? Photos By: Mast General Store

10. Scoobie Doo Snacks

Chowing down on these treats was definitely something kids enjoyed in the 90’s! The solid blue gummy was the clear favorite every time. Photos By: General Mills
