Who doesn’t love a good hamburger from time to time? The nice thing about a burger is that it fills you up no matter what, but the downside can be if you have a gluten intolerance and can’t have the bun. Or maybe you’re just on a low carb diet at the moment. We wouldn’t want you to miss out on grilling season just because of that! So here are some amazing recipes that are actually created to not even have a bun.

1. Burger Bowl

This is kind of like a health bowl but makes you feel like you’re eating something unhealthy at the same time. Take all your favorite toppings, and throw them in a bowl with a patty. It’s a great meal if you’re on the run as well.

2. Mexican Turkey Burgers

Nothing like a little cilantro and corn to make you forget that you don’t have a bun on your burger! The best part about this burger, is that it is stuffed with Avocado. Does it get better? No. It doesn’t.

3. Mushroom Burger with Horseradish Aioli

I love grilled up some mushrooms and onion as a topping for a burger. Take it to the next level with a little Aioli instead of the typical ketchup and mustard combination.

4. Naked Salmon Burgers with Sriracha Mayo

These salmon burgers aren’t made from that gross canned salmon, oh no, it’s made with a fresh slab of salmon and has a great spice component with the mayo.

8. Bacon Cheeseburger Salad

This may not be the healthiest meal we are featuring, but it will definitely hit the spot for a burger craving. The best part is the delicious pickles mixed in with the salad like they totally belong in every garden salad!

Ever tried a beet burger? Don’t let the red color freak you out – they are fully cooked! That being said, this may be a fun way to prank some family members.
